I wanted to visit the Stellenbosch Museum and Hazelwood House's central location allowed me to easily explore it. The free Wi-Fi and on-site parking at Hazelwood House pleasantly surprised me. I enjoyed the convenience of having free Wi-Fi, and the on-site parking made it easy for me to explore the surrounding attractions.

Slight hiccup with arrival.

The decoration at Hazelwood House was absolutely charming! It had a lovely vintage feel that made me feel right at home. The general areas, such as the gardens and pool, were beautifully maintained and provided a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. As a senior woman, I was pleased to find that the hotel was easily accessible, with no stairs to worry about and everything conveniently located on one level.

I would have preferred if the children working there were a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests.

I had a fantastic stay at Hazelwood House! the location was perfect, right next to the famous G-spot mountainbike spot. the apartment was fully equipped and had a lovely South African style. the quiet neighborhood made for a peaceful stay. the highlight for me was the beautiful garden, complete with a refreshing swimming pool and plenty of barbecue and chill-out opportunities. the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend this location for couples or families looking for a relaxing getaway. Perfect for exploring the wineries or simply taking it easy.
